I have a sanitizer that I use in the microwave, and with 7 oz. of water, it goes in for 4.5 minutes. That would probably be about 3 minutes subjected to very hot steam.

I never boiled my sons bottles, I just put them in the dishwasher. Of course he came out at 9.5 lbs and was very healthy. If the baby was born premature or with any types of health problems that may affect his/her immune system then follow the directions that come with the bottles on how to sterilize them. But - if your talking about warming a bottle just stick it in a mug with hot water for about 2 minutes.... Your question was pretty vague.

5 minutes. You should ask your doc if you even need to do so. In many municipalities, it is unnecessary. Your dishwasher likely does a good enough job.
