You should feel her move throughout the day, maybe just a few movements at a time. But it's true, if you're really busy sometimes you don't notice all of the movements. If your doctor is saying everything's fine and they are hearing a strong heartbeat, you can relax and don't worry at all.
Babies have days just like we do and sometimes they slow down on a given day and then the next day they are more active.
If you ever have a day where it seems you've hardly felt anything, have some juice or another sugary drink, lie down on your left side very still and start counting kicks. You should get at least 10 within an hour.

the average kick count is 10 per hour. If you are worried drink a 16oz glass of ice cold juice or water, lay on your left side and start counting. If she is still not moving well then call you doc NOW. They are used to these questions. I just went through the same thing. I was so scared I teared up just asking the nurse the question. Everything turned out ok though. This is Duster Daves daughter. Good luck and stay calm.

You should eat a light snack (or meal if you did not eat dinner yet). Then lay down on your side in a quiet place and count the movements. Count until you have 10 movements. This should be within 2 hours, but will probably be much quicker. If you don't get 10 movements in 2 hours, you need to call your OB or after hours service.
My baby moves better after eating.
Good luck.

Drink some juice and then do kick counts. You need to feel 10 movements in 2 hours time. If you are, I am sure the baby is fine. I am posting a link so that you can read it and ease your worries a bit.

Yes, that's okay if she moved 4 or 5 times. That's only the movement you 'felt'..she probably moved alot more than that.
It's normal to worry when you are pregnant. When you are not feeling her move for a few hours, you could try to eat something and sit still and feel her move then, cause that's when they are the most active.

If you have been busy and active today you probably just didn't notice your babies movements. She probably spent most of the day asleep since you were up and about.
I hardly ever notice movement until I am at a state of rest.

Don't be scared...that's perfectly normal! some days they're pretty active, other days it's like they're sleeping all day. Plus with the body growing and changing sometimes we don't feel their movements.
when you don't feel an movements at all for about a day, then call a doctor.
