Have you ever ordered a coffee that was so bad you could not drink it?

Oh yes, for sure. I tried to give the earthy local family coffeeshop a shot. Whooo....I practically sprinted back to Starbucks! I wanted to throw the coffee away at the shop, but I didn't want to be rude, so I tossed it onto a trash can down the street. Oh, it was awful.

Can't stand Peet's or Illy coffee either. It's so strong that half a cup of creamer doesn't really do the trick.

I also like Superior coffee, which you'll find at a lot of diner-type places. =)

I've loved the taste of coffee since I was a kid. It all started with coffee flavored ice cream. I became a purist in college when I had a couple all-nighters. First I ran out of milk. Then I ran out of sugar. And I still had papers to write. Now, I drink my coffee without anything in it. I prefer a top quality dark roast. On occasion, I'll go for one of those coffee drinks like you get at Starbucks, as a treat. Do not ever give me decaf. No matter the brand, it tastes terrible! Besides, what's the point of decaffeinated coffee?

I ordered a latte once. It was supposed to be thick froth on the top, came out with wattery bubbles. I drank it (3 bucks, come on! I was a poor student as well then.) Felt so ill afterwards - can't describe why, but I wanted to throw it. It was like drinking a wet damp mouldy cloth.
