some days there seems like there's more "water" than other days. The area is still tender. What home treatment might work?

Homeopathic Treatment :-
ARNICA MONTANA and RHUS TOX both in 30C or 30X potency atleast three times a day half an hour before meals will cure your elbow injury without any side effects or complications of any kind. Initally put three drops each in a glass full of water and take a sip every hour till you start feeling relief after that three times a day is the regular dosage till 100% cure. Nothing works better or faster and cures 100%.

Best of Health to you.
Take Care and God Bless.

What you have is a bursitis. The bursa is filled with fluid, and eventually it will resolve. You can get it drained but chances are it will come back. One of the best things you can do is to cool the area several times a day and take it easy with you elbow. Avoid doing things like playing tennis, golf those sort of things.

A doctor can insert a needle in there and pull out the fluid. It's going to be harder to heal until the fluid is removed.

You could try celery seed and dandelion to see if they would help or not. Or maybe some acupuncture treatments. But most likely, you'll need to get the fluid drained by a doctor.

Good luck and be well.

Try cod liver oil. It is a natural diuretic. It will reduce your swelling over night. The best brand I have found is 'Nordic Naturals". It has no garbage in it.
