A future child or grandchild would be one reason to stick around. They sure would love to know you and love you and respect you.

I'm assuming you are younger. If you had said you were in a relationship and the person you live with doesn't respect you, then I would say consider leaving.
Since you said the people you live with... then I will say you need to find more reasons not to stick around other than no one respects you.
Could it possibly be that you just aren't receiving what you believe to be respect? Do you deserve the respect you are looking for... I know everyone deserves respect but I mean are you rebelious or should I say you are not respecting them? If you are younger as I assume, you need to respect those around you before they respect you. Especially if we are talking about your parents. Now if you are in an abusive household you need to discuss this with someone you can trust. There has to be somone that will listen to you and help you make the best decisions.
Leaving though is not always the answer and if you mean suicide as not sticking around... that is never the answer, that is an absolutely, can not be reversed bad idea.
You can get ideas and get things off your chest on here but you need to talk to someone you trust if you are serious.
Good Luck

But, you already did think of one reason...your question states it...what if? The beginning of a lifetimes journey, the reason itself....what if? Thinking about something, asking yourself what if, is the reason to stick around....journey for the answer, quest as though its the proverbial holy grail, let what if take you anywhere and everywhere.....what if? hope filled words with the promise of adventure....

Leave.
While sometimes our notions of respect are the problem, there are usually some people who can be found who can treat you with dignity and respect. Be sure, for your own sanity, that your expectations are reasonable and rational. Often times, thinking that we deserve respect is more upsetting than any lack of respect.
Some people don't respect me. I don't waste my time on them. Nor do I spend time insisting or demanding that they do.

If their respect is something you desire to have, earn it. If you don't feel like you have anything to prove to these people and you already feel like you should have their respect, then you either have to accept that they won't respect you, or leave.
