You always hear stats on marriage but usually it's like 50% divorce rate. We've just celebrated 28 years on the 1st of Aug.
The funny thing is when we first met many people said we wouldn't make it together for 6 mths. I'm just curious to know how many make it that long.

My parents are about to celebrate their 30th. I got married almost a year ago, and the same thing was said about me (although we've been together for 6 years). I believe if you come from a good family life, you will provide a good family life. It is uncommon these days to find people that respect the union for what it is and more common for people to rush into things purely for the sake of being "grown up" and not being able to pass a hypothetical "logic test" - which I feel should be required in order to marry and procreate.

I know what you mean. We've been married 35 years and our parents said we were too young and it wouldn't last. Hahaha. Congrats to you, by the way.

Why don't you just go do a google search you moron.

The only reason you posted this question was to brag about your marriage. Pretty inconsiderate of you.
