I just noticed it...and it is very small...

wait until dark. The hornets will be settled by then. then either spray it with raid or some other insecticide. You can knock it down then.

Is it is one of those big round ones the size of a football?
Paint it to look like a pinata and invite some Mexicans over!
OK on serious note. Raid makes a wasp and Hornet killer. I have used it to good affect. But I can run fast.
At night say a few hours after sunset give the nest a 2-3 second blast and RUN into your house or car.
Practice with the spray and a flashlight before you do the deed. You just have to get a little on the nest and it will take care of them.If it is a ball nest aim for the hole.

Spray it with hornet and wasp spray at night. Saturate it really well to kill them all. If you don't get them all, they will come back angry. If it is medium to large, knock it down, at night, and burn it.
I once had a nest that was large, didn't burn it. Woke up the next morning and my entire back door, which is where it was near, was covered with them. At that point, I called a professional, this is how I learned about burning it. Always at night, while they sleep. Be careful!!!!!

get a bottle that has a sprayer on it and fill it with bleach and spray the nest oh yea do it at night when they are all in side

that raid wasp and hornet form the grocer works good .. it shoots from a long ways a way and drops them fast so they dont fly all over .. i use it around the house alot on paper wasps ...

If it is small enough, spray it with a real sticky hairspray and then take it down .

buy hornet killer spray. i have this problem every year. buy the can that works from 20 feet away and spray your heart out. make sure you get all of them. good luck and it it comes after you spray and run!!
