Have you ever cut your own hair?

..if you haven't, would you ever trust yourself to?

After it started falling out, I pulled a "Britney" and just shaved the rest.

Whoever gave me the "thumbs down", I'm not balding. My hair was falling out due to medication. It was easier to just shave it than wait for it all to fall out.

Yes, sometimes I made a mess, sometimes it turned out OK.
I cut my husband's hair, and it looks pretty good! Cant tell I am not a professional at all. But of course, he wears a hat.

Yep. Once in college when I had no money. It's hard to cut your own bob.

It grew out quite nicely though.

I always cut my own hair - that's why it's such a mess. But when I pay other people, they make it even worse, so I'd rather pay nothing.

Hairdressers aren't good with naturally curly hair.

No one else trims or cuts my beautiful long hair. Don't want it butchered.
Trim it myself, several times a year, but had a lot of hours of beautician training.

only my bangs. but the have now grown out. i was thinking about doing that last night but i dont have enough guts to do it. i'll cut other peoples hair though ☺

I have on a few occasions when I didn't have time to go and get it done-especially the front part that falls into my face when it gets too long.

When I was three I found skissors and chopped off all my hair, and I have trimmed my bangs, but thats it. And No i would not trust myself!

I used to, back in college, and I did a really good job, actually!
I don't think I would do it now though. My hands aren't quite as steady as they used to be because of my thyroid med.
