DO YOU REMEMBER ALL THE HIGH PAYING JOBS THAT WERE BEING OFFERED WHEN CLINTON WAS IN OFFICE? I HOPE THE ONES THAT HAD THOSE JOBS AND ARE NOW LAID OFF SAVED THEIR MONEY FOR BUSH'S $3 GAS.

Because the expectation for a Bush economy would have been much much worse than this. Unemployment is not horrendous and there aren't any housing market collapses...who coulda figured?

Because unemployment and inflation are near all time lows. Because the housing industry has been booming for years. Because more families - white and black - own more homes than at any time in history. Because interest rates are low. Because the stock market is absolutely doing fantastic. Because jobs are being created at a pace that rivals any period during the Clinton administration.
In every economy, there are winners and losers. I am guessing that you are one who was not prepared to take advantage of the economy and are not doing so well. Hope you learn for the next round!
