I had my period on my wedding day. No problems at all...except when we got to the hotel....I had to explain why I "couldn't".....but we did! Best sex ever!

I knew I would be getting my period on my wedding day so I skipped my placebo pills and started my next pack. Unfortunately it did not stop my period, instead I bled for 19 days. Of course it's not ideal having your period during your wedding and honeymoon, but it really wasn't that big of a problem. I just used the shower or cleaned up good beforehand. As long as you are not gushing blood it shouldn't be messy either.

Oh, that would be just awful to have your period on your big day!
But I highly recommend the DIVACUP.
They can he left in for 12 hours, no string, and it has a suction protection seal that does NOT let you have leaks. I swear once you try this divacup out you will NOT go back to the dark side!
They are better for the environment. (No Trash)
They are healthier (tampons contain dioxin/rayon/bleach)
They don't leak at all because of the protection seal.
They are LESS money in the long run.

Good Luck!

I sure have!!!!! I swear I almost made it to the honeymoon and just as we were leaving I said hold on let me go to the bathroom. Well wouldn't you know it!!! We didn't do anything that night. But we lived together for a year prior, so puttingit off a couple of days wasn't a big deal to us. I say go to your doctor and ask him if he can give you the pill, he will give you some sample packs. Just take them till after your honeymoon and then stop. Or, Just do the deed and shower. You would be the first or the last.....

Just take the birth control pills for that month. You probably won't gain any weight with just that 1 cycle of pills. I did that when I got married and continued the pills through the honeymoon. I stopped when we got back from our honeymoon and got my period 2 days later. Didn't gain any weight.

You could get knocked up that would stop your period. I tried that to keep my last girlfriend but she called my bluff I wasn't pregnant, nor did I have to drink vodka out of the bottle for my glaucoma. I just say hey put a cork in it and when it's business time didn't you say your finance's favorite hockey team was the red wings?

Most women don't gain weight when they start a hormonal birth control.
Besides a hormonal birth control, there is no healthful or natural way to skip or delay your period.

Duh!! On your wedding day? Maybe not. On your wedding night & honeymoon? Disaster. Go talk to the dr. She has some pills she can recommend that won't have that side effect. Even if she gives you the kind that you gain weight with, you can discontinue them after a month, after your wedding & honeymoon.

I did. I couldn't believe it.
I got married about 5 p.m. and in between the ceremony and the reception I got my period.
Bummer.
But that was my first wedding. My second wedding, I didn't. :-)

Well I am only 16, so no i haven't... But just use a tampon.. But make sure you keep changing it every 2-3 hours so you know it won't go through.
