I seriously don't know if I would be able to and I am very interested to hear what others think. I see PC doing this...but I also see our blindly trusting our officials doing it also. Where does it stop? It seems that the line between right and wrong has been so totally blurred that people are being misled into not caring that they have no say in what happens, or just accepting that the "FBI" "CIA" and even the local officers are just doing their job and whoever they pick up MUST have played against the rules.

Look at the executive orders which have been passes since 2001..or how about the "Sign in additions" Do you realize that it is up to just ONE person to decide to use them for whatever reason that they WANT?

This has nothing to do with Democrats or Republicans, because as far as I am concerned they are both full of BS and have back stabbed the USA.

I am getting better at it by keeping up with the news on bills they try to slip past us. Isn't that just a way of making sure we have no freedom of speech. If all people do is watch CNN for their news, they are only are only getting half of the story.

Every time civil liberties are stripped away, those are MY rights being take -- and yours.

The fact that you or I have not yet needed to rely on them doesn't make them any less our rights.

In honor of Pastor Martin Niemöller:

First they came for the 6th Amendment, but I hadn't been accused of a crime, so I didn't object to denial of counsel.

Then they came for the 4th Amendment, but I wasn't talking to anyone overseas, so they wouldn't be monitoring me.

Then they came for the rest of the 4th Amendment, but I only called my mother, so there was nothing suspicious in my phone records.

Then they came for the 1st Amendment, but I never associated with criminals, so I didn't worry about being convicted purely based on what other people might do.

Then they came for the 14th Amendment, but I never really understood the rules for Due Process (and wasn't allowed an attorney), so I didn't object.

Then they came for the rest of the 1st Amendment, but I never told anyone about what the government was doing, so again I remained silent.

Then they came for the 5th Amendment, ...... and I no longer had the right to remain silent.
