is it just 6 squared or the whole thing squared?
If it is the whole thing squared the answer would be 9

2 x (3-(4/2 x 5 -3) - (-5) + 6 squared=
2 X (3 -(2*5 -3)+5+ 36
= 2X(3-7) +41
= -8 + 41 = 33
You have three open paretheses and only two close parentheses. I have assumed that the missing close parenthesis is after the parethesisis following the -3.

Bless My Dear Aunt Sally.
Brackets first
Multiplication next
Division
Addition
Subtraction last
That's the order of operations, reading from left to right
Bless My Dear Aunt Sally is the gimmick for remembering that order

I'm not certain about your problem:is the -(-5) inside a bracket, ie [3-(4/2x5-3 -(-5)] ?
I'm going to try!

2 x (3-(20/2-3) -(-5) +6^2
2 x (3-(7)) -(-5) +6^2
2 x (-4) -(-5) + 6^2
-8 +5 +36
33

As I say, the problem as written is unclear to me, but perhaps Aunt Sally will be of use to you
Good luck

order of ops 6^2 = 36
- -5 = +5
2(3-(20/2) - 3)+5+36
= 2(3-(7))+41
=-8+41
=33

PEMDAS
the work is:
exponent first 6 sq= 36

2 * (3-(7) - (-5) +36

2 * (-4) - (-5) +36

PEMDAS! so multiply
-8-(-5) +36

-8+5+36

-3+36

=33

hope that helped!

You have three left parentheses and only two right ones. It makes a big difference where that missing paren might be.
