Well, I look at it like this...
On Mars they got Deep Sea Fishing Tournaments? No???
We do.
On the rivers up there on Mars, they got Hydroplane boat Races? No??? We do.
Seen any good Golf Courses on Mars? No??? We got lots of them.
They have any Disneyland Parks on Mars? No? we got several of them here.
Oh yes, GPS Satellites...They have GPS satellites up there on Mars? No??? We do.
Let's see...What is the name of that thing? Oh yeh, International space Station. They got an ISS up there on Mars? No??? We do.
I never heard of the Mars Soccer Team. They must be nobodies. And, is there such a thing as the MFL... you know, Martian Football League? No? Heh, heh...We got one called the NFL.
So...In my book...Mars aint so hot.

Either they nave no technology or keep it well hidden. You be the judge. If they showed any signs of technology they would be flooded by jerks trying to sell them the latest cell phone or whatever.

As you said, they may have found us but we have not found them. They may have visited us, but we have not visited them.
So the answer to that one is...We don't know, yet.
One day as they may have visted us, we will visit them and see for ourselves how smart they actually are.
But remember, smartness has no limit.
