Why can't you just keep it in the car and throw it away at the next gas station or your house?
I don't get it. Please explain.

nope, I use a wonderful device called a garbage can... it works great, wish everybody would give it a try

I throw biodegradable things such as fruit peels out into the bushes because they'll get all over the car otherwise. But I have no idea why anyone would not be bothered to wait until a gas station for other stuff,

I throw organic things out the window if I'm in a wooded area, like if it's an apple core or something that an animal can eat.
Regular garbage waits till I get to a garbage can.

No, I don't do that. My grandma used to stop the car and pick it up when other people did that. She would follow them and give it back to them at the next light or parking lot LOL! We called her the Trash Police when we were kids.

I did at one time but I've changed since one time I went to throw a container of ranch sauce out my window and it flew back all over my hand. Ever since then, I'll wait for a trash can, thank you.

Most definitely not, a) i havent got a car, b) i was brought up to use rubbish bins. i have never ever knowingly dropped litter and neither have my kids. if something falls out of my pocket or bag, i pick it up, always have always will.

No. I don't believe in littering and abhor anyone that does. It's unfortunate that those that do can't have more respect for themselves, others and the Earth itself that God willingly created and gave to us to care for.
