I'm at the foot of that mountain, but I can't start climbing yet, my equipment isn't ready yet. But I'm working on that! At least I found my mountain!!

Unlike the Appalachian or Rocky Mountains in the US...the French Alps appear more like many hills...juxtaposed on an undefined terrain.
This is a bit confusing for US skiers who went straight up...and straight down, just one mountain, which bared the same name as printed on their lift ticket...for their entire lives.
In the Alps...one may ski all way down to the bottom of the slope...but it really isn't the bottom. It just feels like it is because the trail ends and there is no where else to go, but up. The truth is...it's just a valley.
Another interesting thing...is all the hills below create the illusion that one is not as high up as s/he really is. It is not until the clouds clear and the sun is blazing--that one can appreciate the altitude.
But, to answer you question...Yes, I am standing on a hill in my mountain of dreams.

shop mountaineering you're able to be able to slip some circumstances you're able to be able to additionally sprain an ankle or 2...yet climb whether it ability clinging onto the mountain by means of your tooth reason once you get to the perfect it will be ....epic pwn that mountain!!
