So when you get attacked you attack a person that might be a threat down the road, rather than the one that is in your face at the moment?

There were no such reports that I'm aware of. Osama was never in Iraq.

None, b/c he's in Pakistan. No one ever claimed Osama was in Iraq either. We went to Iraq fight the part of the war on terror, which includes disposing of dictatorial, terrorizing regimes who claim to have WMD's programs and threaten to use them against the free world and DO use them against their own citizens. Which "intelligent" Daily Kos blogger told you Bush claimed Osama was in Iraq? Just curious.

This is Abu Musab al Zarqawi. After running an al-Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan, he found his way to Baathist Baghdad, where he reportedly checked into Olympic Hospital, an elite facility run by the late Uday Hussein, son of the captured tyrant. Zarqawi is believed to have received medical treatment for a leg injury sustained while dodging American GIs who toppled the Taliban. He convalesced in Baghdad for some two months. Once he was back on his foot, Zarqawi then opened an Ansar al-Islam terrorist training camp in northern Iraq. Zarqawi is thought to be behind the October 28, 2002 assassination of this man, Lawrence Foley:

Another one that gets incredibly annoying is the claim that "Saddam had no ties to Al Qeda." This is one of those lies that has several falsehoods tangled together: Prior to the invasion no one in the administration suggested more than weak ties to Al Qaeda. What they did note was extensive ties to international terrorist groups in general. Those ties were real and extensive, and a few of them pointed to Al Qaeda but nothing was firm.

Which intelligence reports say that Saudi Arabia is not the real enemy of the United States?

You are confused.

The intelligence report said Obama was in Iraq.

He was there on a fact finding mission, researching his goal of invading Pakistan.

No one said Osama was in Iraq. They said his lieutenants were.

So who said he was there, intelligence reports notwithstanding. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, anybody. What is your problem?
