What is it like in Norway? What are the citizens like? Are they friendly? Or are they too judgemental? Are they hospitable? Is it beautiful over there?

As a Filipino-American Tourist will I get along just fine over there by myself Hosteling around to check that place out? Do they speak English over there as a second or third language?

I have been to Norway and most people you meet will speak English.
Almost all the young people have it as second language and most of the people working in tourist industry know it well although it might be the fourth after Swedish and German. Many of the older people outside tourist industry may not know English but they were helpful and willing to make a guess about what you said if they did not understand you.

As a people they are very friendly and if you come in with a smile and a polite question you will be treated well in all places.

It is a beautiful country, rough and rocky in many places but also more gentle areas.

The holiday season is rather short so if you travel in September to June check that the hostels in the smaller towns are open, in the bigger towns like Oslo and Bergen they are open most of the / all year.

And in my opinion it is the country with the best breakfasts in the world!
