Yes, it is a sad day when, out of my 100+ channels, I can't find anything better to watch than the news.
I have literally watched Headline News for 18 hours straight! (And of course the worst part is that Headline News repeats itself every 30 minutes or so.)

They're just ahead of their time I guess....
News and sports are the first "reality television" shows, what else is there to watch? Okay, History Channel, Discovery and American Chopper. Everything else sucks!

Cowgirl up's right--getting paid to watch the news makes it much easier. I don't watch much at home though.

...I don't know...I don't watch the news....like tried doing that...but it is a lot of things going on....many not happy things that I have no control over....so I rather not see a lot of negative things...when I rather spend my time doing what I have to do or like doing....
...when I have known people who are news watchers....it seems like they really like it.....makes them feel like they are staying up to date on things or are a part of things....but in reality...they are just sitting at home or wherever...just watching....not doing anything.....
