I totally agree and I couldn't have said it better myself...because I am learning that very lesson as we speak, but like you said...we are never to old to learn and I don't plan on wasting one more minute! I only have one life to live & I think it's high time that I start living it for me now! ;o)

Oh yeah, those wise words are 100% true. And just like you, I learned the hard way. But hey, that is the best way to learn.

Haroula,
you topped the cake again with a winner - and yes, never to late to learn.
Also, "don't waste your time on a man/woman that won't tell you anything about themselves - this way you don't waste your time trying to prove yourself of truth to someone who just "questions" that truth". Uggh! You get my point Haroula!

I agree with completely. But I think that is a great saying to apply to anything that isn't worth your time.

I agree, but at the same time I think it sounds like it promotes selfishness instead of promoting self value and awareness of self worth. I mean selflessness is independent of the opinions directed at you. The opinions and feelings you direct towards the outer environment matter.

I agree with these words of yours.
Spending time with someone who does not love you
Is a waste of time too
I had such a venture with one that I Ioved too
But she did not love me which caused me to boo-hoo.
