Uh BEATLES sure I will give that Metallica has a few songs but have you ever listened to Masters of Puppets its the same song over and over again!Besides how can someone even say that the Beatles are one of the most influencial band in the known universe. And their lyrics had more substance hell Lennon is practically god! It is a deep shame if you over look them and say Metallica is better. Metallica got pissy at their fans for the downloading of their music. I understand they lost some money but most comes from touring and such. Gah....its a sad world if we ignore Revolution and take in Sandman instead.

I like Metallica ten times more than the Beatles, but the Beatles are probably one of the most influential rock bands of all time.

It's apples vs. oranges. That's like comparing Bach and Beethoven. Metallica probably wouldn't exist if it hadn't been for the Beatles. I have my favorites from both bands, like "Norwegian Wood" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" vs."Fade to Black" and "Orion". Just for listening's sake, I usually prefer Metallica. But Black Sabbath and Motorhead are my all time faves.
