We don’t have a dictatorship just yet. After all your ability to express dissent on this forum is good evidence to the contrary. However, an overall apathy to our political malaise and obliviousness to the increasing efforts by our government to encroach upon our freedoms, by the American electorate, can one-day cause totalitarianism to rise as it did in Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and Communist Russia.

Ultimately the answer to this problem is a better education for our kids, which does not sacrifice the study of history, literature, and the humanities, for science and math. It is only when our population is well informed on the aforementioned issues, that we can prevent any attempt by our government to control our lives. A population of well-rounded people is the most dangerous thing for a government that has tyrannical objectives.

Oh, wait, that would mean we had an election.

Chips in arms would never work and no one wants them. Walk through scanners are not as small as you think they are. They are very large.
