Okay...lets see if I can accuratly state this...
First of all, Belle and Sami have different fathers. Belle's father is John Black and of no relation to the Bradys. Sami's father is Roman Brady.
Second, Shawn Douglas is a Brady only because his father (Bo) is a half-sibling. Bo's biological father is Victor Kiriakas, but his mother (Carolyn) tried to pass him off as the elder Shawn Brady.
All in all, Belle and Shawn are cousins, by marriage several times over though. So no incest on that branch of the family tree.

Belle is Sami's half sister via Marlena. Belle's father is John who is not a brady, but neither is Bo who biologically is a Kiriakis.

They are cousins by marriage as has been pointed out already. You are right about the gene pool being shallow in Salem though. If you tried you could connect every single charactar through marriage or blood.

You probably haven't seen "The Young and the Restless," have you.
On that show, Sharon is currently married to Jack, who used to be her ex-husband Nick's stepfather. Meantime, Nick is currently married to Phyllis, who used to be married to Jack at the same time Nick was with Sharon. Noah is Nick son whom he had with Sharon, so in this case, Jack, who would've been Noah's step-grandfather, is now his stepfather. Meantime, Sharon also slept with Brad - who was newly-married to Nick's sister, Victoria, at the time - while in New York and while married to Nick. Sharon was also caught kissing her father-in-law, Victor, in a sensual manner by Nick.
Poor Noah, he's the one who's the most screwed up here.
And you want to talk about the gene pool in Salem? The gene pool in Genoa City is even shallower than that, thanks to Sharon's ability to keep it in the family! Ewww!
Thank God there was no romantic storyline between brother and sister Devon and Lily. What I described above is enough incest.

No, Belle and Sammi have different fathers. Roman is Sammi's and John is Belle's. Therefore,Shaun and Belle are not related. Belle is not a Brady.
