I have eaten leftovers up to a week after the original meal and everything was fine. I put the food away right after dinner. The fridge is cleaned every Friday for trash day and we also have two teenagers so nothing has ever made it longer than that.

No more than 2 days. If they are not eaten by the second day they are trashed that night when the garbage is taken out.

I love leftovers. They usually don't last too long while I'm around.

We keep them until they turn green , then eat them asap ! Waste not , want not , they say .
Once they start turning an orangy-blue with little red/black "round things" on them , we throw them out .
