Give yourself a few weeks. If she's measuring a little small, then you'll probably start to feel her around 20-22 weeks!
Good luck!

Don't worry!
When I was 17 wks pregnant, my Midwife said "you must be feeling the baby kicking like crazy now" and I freaked because I wasn't feeling any kicking. Well, it was my first pregnancy, and all those "gas bubbles" I felt were the baby kicking, I just couldn't differentiate between the two. By 2 or 3 weeks later, I could feel definate baby-movement.
They say women can feel their babies earlier on if they have been pregnant before (because they know what they are feeling is the baby and not gas). In a first pregnancy, everything is new and it is hard to tell what is going on.
Don't worry, with a little more time, your girl is going to kick you plenty! Eventually, you will feel like she is going to crack a rib or hip bone, and you'll wish you couldn't feel it! Relax, take a few deep breaths, and be happy that the ultrasound is showing everything is OK!
Much love, and best of luck!

Most people feel their baby move at around 20 wks. I felt my first at 18 wks, my second at 20 wks. But some people don't feel the baby kick until 22 wks. Since you are feeling the gas bubbles (or quickening - the baby moving), you will soon be able to feel the kicks, probably in 1 or 2 wks.

That gassy feeling is probably the baby. Don't worry, the further along the stronger she'll get.
I didn't feel strong kicks until about 20 weeks or so.

It may be about 20 weeks until you feel the kicks. Maybe your abdominal muscles have a thicker lining. The gassy feeling could also be little flutters.

lol, yes it could be, I didnt feel my 1st daughter until I was 5 months and my second until I was 6, she was a little smaller and slept a lot. Dont worry though if you seen her/him move then everything is ok! You will be feeling the baby soon enough...and it will hurt.....sometimes! Congrats

People usually start feeling the baby around 20 weeks, if it's your 1st baby, it may take awhile to recognize the sensation.

I didn't feel anything til later with my first. One day I thought I felt gas bubbles, but later I realized it was kicking. Once you know what it feels like, you'll feel it all the time!
