I agree,Jennifer Saunders.... just watched every single episode of Absolutely Fabulous over the last few weeks, Jennifer Saunders would be perfect for Dr Who!

I think that the doctor would always remain a man; you can't really change the sex of a character even if they can regenerate, Maybe they should bring in a female time lord if they can work out how without creating a plot hole. Seeing how at the moment he is the only time lord.
