I think she could use a break. And the way Nikki and Sharon treated her when everyone thought Nick was dead, I thought that was really nasty on their part. What do you guys think?

I like Phyllis. Everyone has made wrong choices at one time or another. Phyllis does regret hers. I really believe her intentions were misguided. I do not believe she deserves prison for it.

Blackmail is a crime. When a person blackmails another it is self-serving. What was Phyllis hoping to gain for herself?
She didn't ask for money or any other form of material gain. In fact there wasn't any personal gain for Phyllis.

Neil Winters has never liked Phyllis, yet Phyllis wanted him on the board instead of Nikki. Nick wanted Neil on the board. Victor wanted Neil on the board.

Victoria wanted her mother on the board, Brad himself admits Neil was the better choice for the position.

Would he have voted for Nikki just to keep his wife and mother-in-law happy? Isn't that a form of being victimized by extortion? Brad would have placed a vote for his MIL out of fear that Vickie would be angry with him.

If he hadn't cheated on his wife, who would he have voted for? He admitted in court that Neil was the better choice.

Nick, Phyllis & Victor were also family members, who wanted Brad's vote to reflect their preference. They knew Brad was being pressured by his wife, Victoria & by Nikki, his MIL.

Does a wife or a husband have the right to force each other to do something they might not want to do? Does a mother or father or an in law have the right to force any member of their family to do something that goes against their conscience?

If Phyllis is guilty then each & every member of the Newman family as well as the other characters on Y&R have been guilty of extortion in one form or another.

None of them are innocent. Should Phyllis be punished. I think she has been punished enough. Just knowing & fearing that she won't get to raise her own daughter is enough punishment.

If she goes to prison they should send the whole lot of them in prison too. Everyone on Y& R is guilty. Put them all behind bars and in orange Jumpsuits or stripes.

That would be interesting!

Sharon has done many foolish things herself yet she comes off like she is a little miss goody two shoes and so does Nikki both of them need to receive a come uppance! I don't like the way people have treated her.

I do not feel sorry for Phyliss. She has done a lot of wrong and I do not think she will make a big change. Remember, when she wanted to steal Jack from Sharon when she thought Nick was dead and then ran back to Nick when she found out he was alive. That is not change that is seeking opportunity.

I totally agree, especially given all that she's going through, she doesn't deserve to be on trial and facing possible prison time for extortion. Frankly, I think the Bradstard had it coming that time. He should've thought about this before he cheated on Victoria with Nick's wife Sharon when they were in New York.

Then again, it wouldn't have happened in the first place if SharHo hadn't be a tempestuous slut.

And I know they had been grieving for Nick, but there are classier ways for Nikki and Vikki to have dealt with this than to give Phyllis crap. Having her arrested at her legal wedding to Nick for possible extortion was wrong, but it was Bradstard's fault because he wouldn't be a man and come clean about sleeping with SharHo in New York to begin with.

You're bloody right I think Phyllis needs a break. She should take Summer, Noah and Nick and whisk away to the Caribbean for a few months until this all blows over.

The way she was treated when they thought Nick was dead was horrible, and it showed a side of Nikki that I didn't like.

That is a time when no matter what, family should come together.

Phyllis has always had a "bad girl" side to her, she uses it for her own benefit. I liked it when I thought she might be changing, but I never did like her and Nick together.

A little bit, but then I realize if she minded her own damn business than none of this would be going on!!! This is not Phyllis's first criminal acts, if it was maybe I would feel sorry. I would just have to let Nick go!!!!!! You can't change how someone feels about you! Than while he was "dead" you was laying all up in Jack's house. WTF

Sharon didn't treat her bad during the funeral that was Vikki and Nikki!!!

I feel sorry how Nick is treating her!! I know he doesn't remember but he is not even trying. Nick needs to file for divorce!

Phyllis needs to tend to herself and that loser son of hers. If she paid more attention to Daniel instead of Brad and Sharon's one night stand than maybe Daniel's life would be together instead of the mess it is in now!

I feel sorry for her, she is trying so hard... and I think she is sincere in wanting to be with Nick and make a happy life together... I'm wondering, does Nick really deserve that since he is so focused on getting Sharon back?...

The writers are in all risk squabbling over the course this is going, have you ever seen the credit its extra beneficial than 5. the top author desires to get alongside with the historian so they are able to be certain the character's previous & motivations and how he/she wold react interior the present circumstances Chloe in basic terms did no longer make any experience at present. Why worry going to the pool living house if she had no objective of growing to be up? Billy talked approximately numerous valid factors. He did no longer say he replaced into going to be a good committed husband, he in basic terms married her because of the fact of Delia, so Cane would not get custody, to help Chloe against the attack that she isn't a good mom. And technically, Billy replaced into no longer her husband while he and Sharon had intercourse. It replaced into the evening till now the marriage, and he or she knew that Billy replaced into no longer in love along with her. warmth would not immediately equivalent to love. optimistically heads will functionality and sturdy writers will write extra sensible memories!
