i read the book and i loved but im afraid to watch the movie and it wouldnt be as good as the book

THE BOOK DEFINITELY.
THE MOVIE IS GOOD, AND I FELT THE SAME WAY YOU DID BEFORE I WENT TO SEE IT. IF YOU CAN WATCH IT AND NOT JUDGE IT AGAINST THE BOOK, IT'LL BE WORTH WATCHING.

The book is always better, when they make a film it seems that some parts are left out. But see the movie, once you've read the book you can enjoy the movie knowing what the differences are.

The original books [as in they came before, and they're not just the movie version] are always so much better. Don't be afraid to watch the movie though, just go ahead...
