I think I have the right to my beliefs. I believe I have the obligation to tell a guy where I am coming from. I feel that is a foundation for truth and reality.

But when I feel the need to tone it down, even deny my beliefs, I cant do it. I think, if this leads to a serious relationship, then he may not like who I am...before, or after it has gone too far.

I am asking y'all, is integrity more important than momentary satisfaction?

I think patience is the best.

You don't have to abandon your beliefs or even hide them. But if he disagrees with them, he doesn't have to hide his either. After everything is out in the open, you can guys can either agree to disagree, knowing that everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, or you guys can find that you do agree. Either way, I think you both can live happily ever after.

Depend on what is more important to you? I think you should be more open minded. Do you support the Republican Party regardless of who's running? If that the case then you are closed minded. I will judge each candidate seperately, sometimes I vote for Republican, sometimes I voted for Democrat depend on each candidate.

There are a lot of things about you more important than politics.
Your political ideals are only offputting if 1) he disagrees strongly or 2) you present them in an angry, argumentive way.
