I think he is a good manager. 9 straight playoff apperances is a great accomplishment.

Should he? No. Joe Torre is the most over rated manager in the HISTORY of baseball. Teflon Torre has had the most talent and the most money spent for him that any other team bar none. Yeah, so he makes the playoffs every year. Big whoop. Isn't that what Yankee fans used to make fun of the Braves for? With his lineups, and his results, any other manager(or managers) would have been fired. But not Uncle Joe. He just keeps sittin there, pickin his nose (seriously, you can have drinking games on this premise), and making wrong decision after wrong decision.

He should have been dropped last year when he lost in the playoff second round. No doubt he has a tough job given the NY media frenzy. In that regard he has held up well. The Yanks nevertheless are a second place team this year and they can't compete with he Bosox. Time for Joe to go.

NO, he'll be Fired the yankees are 8 games out of the AL East Lead and 3 Games out of the AL Wildcard Lead, so this Doesn't look good for him or his Team.

Of course the guy has 4 rings with the yankees unless they can get another good manager to replace him.
