cycles starting on the 16th/17th would put ovulation on 2nd/3rd. you can get pregnant anywhere from 5 days prior to ovulation to the day OF ovulation..not after. so, on a 31day month that would be from the 28th of the previous month through the 3rd of the current month. if on a day other than that, you are not pregnant.
if you are not willing to take on the responsibility of a child, you should BOTH think twice about your actions and BE responsible before the choice is made for you.

Hiya
yes you can get pregnant even if your boyfriend didn't come as he leaks sperm the whole time whilst inside you. If your periods are regular you would normally ovulate 14/16 days after your period ( as it usually falls halfway between ).
Whatever position you were in some sperm will stay inside you. There's every chance that you might be pregnant, especially if it was on or near your ovulation!. If i were you i would go and see my doc, if its not to late you could have the morning after pill. If it is then I'm afraid you'll just have to keep your fingers crossed. Until then use protection!!!!.
hope things work out for you.

Okay, it is possible to get pregnant from this. It's normal for some sperm to leak out, but there is still sperm inside of you.
It's good that you are tracking your period. This will help you figure out when you ovulate.
First of all, you have to figure out how long your menstrual cycle is. Since you are tracking your periods, and they seem pretty regular, this should be easy. Count out how many days there are from the first day of your period (Day 1) to the day before your next period. The average cycle is 28, so I will use this average as an example of when to figure out when you are ovulating.
You ovulate 14 days before you get your period. So, count backwards 14 days from the last day of your cycle. (For a 28 day cycle, this would be Day 14.)
The few days before you ovulate, and the day of, are the days you should not have sex if you don't want to get pregnant.
You will have to calculate out what day during your cycle you had sex. If it was within, roughly, 5 days before or on your ovulation day, your odds increase for pregnancy.
However, if you had sex after your ovulation, you should be fine. If the egg is not fertilized within a short amount of time after being released, it dies and is flushed out. The week before your period is the most unlikely time you will get pregnant.
I hope this made sense and helped you out. Good luck, however things turn out.

my dear i'm in a similar situation. what i will tell you is what i know. you are at the most fertile when you ovulate which is around 10-12 days after the first day of your last period, which would be between 25th to 30th on average (im going by whats in my pregnancy book from health visitor from last time round). from that tenth day onwards for a space of about two weeks you could conceive, and even if some sperm came out or you pushed or washed it out, there is still a chance.
emergency contraceptuion - morning after pill can be taken up to 72 hours after unprotected sex, or IUD fitted up to five days after. you can find out about these from your gp.
if its too late, you must wait to see if you come on this month, and if not, do a test around the 25th - 30th august as thats when the hormone which the test picks up will be detectable and so your test will give an accurate result.
i hope this has helped and you get the result you want. and you're not alone in the worry of this situation because i'm in the same one too myself lol!

YES you can get pregnant that way! Women get pregnant from as little as precum so the fact that he finished inside you is a big indicator that you can get pregnant. Even though some of the semen came out of you there is still some in you! If you dont want to get pregnant, or diseased, you need to abstain or use protection EVERY TIME! If you are worried that you may get pregnant this time, go to your local clinic and as for the morning after pill. (it works with in 48 hours of having unprotected sex). Pregnancy was a big worry of mine when I first started having sex, then I found out I have Genital Herpes. You MUST protect yourself not just to avoid pregnancy but to avoid painful burning sores on your privates!!! I cant stress it enough! Please wear protection EVERY TIME. I wish I would have!!!

Oh yes you can get pregnant, sweets, you need to take one of the test, right away... Standing, sitting, laying it does not matter sperms travel quick...
the closer you are to your period, the harder is for the sperm to get through...so think back, if you did it after you last period like per say a week after, you may be pregnant...if not, you have a big chance that the little suckers did not make it. Good luck.

Hi, YES you can get pregnant it does not matter what position you were in, there are millions of sperm and it only takes one to get through. If you are not pregnant this time and you really don't want a baby go on the pill, or use some other form of contraception don't just leave it to chance.

You can get pregnant that way. It doesnt really matter when you ovulate to some extent, because you can ovulate any time from your last period to a few days before your next, and pregnancy can happen any time basically. If our bodies were as reliable as the text books say, none of us would ever get a surprise pregnancy. You could get the morning after pill if youre really worried.

you usually ovulate about two weeks after the first day of your period. Doesn't matter what position you have sex in, 1% of sperm will be able to travel to your fallopen tubes. If it has been less than 72 hours since this incident then you can still take the morning after pill. Available from chemists, doctors surgery or NHS walk in centre.

here are the rules as I know them Sperm can live inside you for 2-3 days you ovulate in the middle of your month not the calander. you can get preg for 4days befor and after ovulation
so period on the 1st means ovulate on the 15 or 16 so sex between the 8th and the 21 could be risky
