is it true that there was a mime that got stuck in his invisible box and died of starvation?

I was given to believe that the sound of silence deafened the mime and the sound of his own words were lost forever. Therefore no one realized he was in the invisible box and he died of starvation.

Not really. It's because he ate invisible food.
