Children should absolutely go first. If it's possible to keep the entire family unit together, they should all go. I don't know so much about women going before men or vice versa. All I know is I would be one of the ones who'd stay behind until everyone else got off. It is my calling to help others. I would be abandoning that if I left others behind to suffer. Yes, I know one person can't save everyone, but I can save as many as I can save.

Children yes because evolutionary-wise, the needs of the next generation are far more important that the current one.
After they've got out, then you see what you have left. Suicidal people stay because they want to die anyway, so they may as well sacrifice their chance at escape for the others.
The elderly should also be sacrificed because they're nearing the end anyway.
I reckon any couples who are of prime child-bearing age should also get out next, because again we need a strong next generation in order to survive.
Then maybe the parents or at least one parent of the kids who have already been saved, because they'll need a family member around. I would say, if you can only save one of them, choose the one who has the highest chance of spawning again - if the father is having an affair with someone not there, he should go. If the mother is still in her late twenties/early thirties, where the father is in his fifties, she should head out.
After that, fight it out - survival of the fittest, after all.

little ones would be first, for sure, and then their mothers and dads. As a single male without little ones and few people to mourn my loss, i'd could placed myself final and need that there have been a minimum of a few individuals like myself to proportion a brilliant bottle of liquor on the way down. the only element I worry maximum in existence is failing to coach which potential to it. If I sacrificed myself to maintain even somebody else or family contributors, i think of i could a minimum of die a extra significant dying than i'd be served via previous age.
