Rae, it feels pretty darn bad to lose someone you love a lot. In my faith we tend to not mourn a passings of a loved one, hoever. We DO have a loss, for sure but that loss is more along the lines of we'll miss them enormously. However we ALSO at the same time, feel happy for the decesaed loved one. that person has compldeted his/her life's lesson and has successfully progressed into Summerland, haviong gained a much needed experience towards his/her spiritual development. It's the loss of that person for the rest of OUR life that we mourn, not the idea of the person dieing. So, yes it pains us a LOT to no longer have the person around with us. But it's also a time of great joy, because the person has "graduated" from the lesson of his/her life. Does this make any sense to you?
