Just the opposite, actually - now all the ladies are SHOCKED when they find out that I know how to cook AND bake...

I made this final night and that's one in all my customary nutrition - actual convenience nutrition. Smoked fish and macaroni bake - very speedy and straightforward to coach. Sorry, I dont have parts as I only form of made it up myself! Boil macaroni as universal and on the comparable time steam somewhat of smoked haddock over the macaroni. I knew how to cook before I took Home Economics in the 8th grade. If anything put me off, it was the teacher. She was an annoying hag who was the middle school edition of Martha Stewart.

they were odd ... we learnt how to make ketchup.

the teacher never taught us how to do normal (basic) stuff like boil an egg, or cook a chicken. obviously that would have been far more helpful.

plus, if we forgot an ingredient ... we had to buy it from the school. it was 25p for a single scoop of flour!

no, but having to kill a chicken for Sunday dinner at my aunt's place has made it impossible for me to eat chicken with the bones in it for over 40 years. It's the #$@ animal's skeleton... euwwww. Y'know, they hop around afor *quite* a while after their heads are cut off!

by the time I got to those classes I had already been cooking for years...my mom and grandma believed that girls should be proficient in cooking, sewing and cleaning by age 9...I was too!!!

No I enjoyed them & especially my sons he made the most yummy fried rice & stir fry better than mine :)
