I assume the first question was 8x^4y + 6x^2y^2......

If I am correct then the GCF is 2x^2y..... with the question re-written as 2x^2y(4x^2+3y)

I assume the second question was 4x^3 - 2x^2y.....

If I am correst then the GCF is 2x^2.....with the question re-written as 2x^2(2x-y)
