both.......i am proud of our army. i am proud that we are linked to europe but ashamed of being linked to the USA (altho its a necessity).
i am not proud of our history of colonisation and slavery...i was proud of our national health but i am not any more. i am proud that our politics have got less extreme and our religions have too. i am proud of our civil law, our country side and our sense of humour and fair play. i am proud of our football clubs like man utd, and liverpool, and other sports like rugby..for a small country we do OK...
i am not proud that we try to be the big player for our size and we could do better to play it cool...

I am very Proud of America on the whole, I support our troops to the hilt. I lost some respect for our Government for some of the "Bone-Head" stunts they've pulled. That is
not our(Americans on the Whole are very fine
people) fault. Before this is over we will all stand-up and be counted. Again something to be very proud of. We may bicker amongst ourselves, but when the chips are down we are
definitely one nation. Many races and cultures,
but we are 1st and foremost AMERICANS!

A little of Both. The UK has brought the world some great things, most importantly the industrial revolution, trains, various medicenes etc? but there are also some dark parts to our history... The slave trade and Iraq war to name just two.
But on the whole i am proud of England and the UK
