How about using both? Sydney Gabrielle sounds nice together.

I like both. If I had to choose, I'd pick Sydney. Sydney doesn't seem to be as common as Gabrielle. Good luck and congrats!

Gabrielle hands down, it's lovely. Sydney still sounds like a guy to me (Sid). Unless Sydney Australia has special meaning to you, stick with Gabrielle. ( though I like Bri or Elle better than Gabby for a nn).

I like Gabrielle more. It's such a beautiful name, and you can call her Gabby. With Sydney, you can't make a nickname, and I'm sure lots of people would spell it wrong. Gabrielle is very easy to spell.
