Check and see if all yer plug wires are tight. Sounds like some kind of electrical problem to me too.

Sounds like the a/c is on and is quick cycling because of a low charge and also the idle air control valve is sluggish and not increasing the idle quick enough when the compressor kicks in.
Turn the a/c off and see if it still has the problem. If so, replace the IAC valve and have the a/c recharged.

check the compression to see if you even level across all cyclinders this might be a valve problem with noise you mention but with this many miles it could be many different causes, you dont indicate wheather you have had any major repairs in the past and if you have not you are due for any number of things including a complete rebuild.

I hope you have been doing maintenance on this truck. Have the plugs ever been changed? Take it to an auto parts store and have them read the codes and see if it will tell you where the problem is. It may be something simple, but it is annoying.

The clapping sound and the rpm swaying is probably being caused by a misfiring cylinder.

It could be many different things and the way you ask these questions, like looking for the fuse box because you might have heard water in the dash, I can only say, bring it to an automotive shop because you will NEVER fix it yourself. Sorry!

Go to a parts store and let them read the codes I think it would be more of some sensor and you need to set the timing correctly.
