I've already made an appointment, and I'll probably have ANOTHER catscan. But so far they have found nothing . . .

Oh my Sweet Dear Friend I just went through that last week for 4- days, and then it's been off and on. I had a Cat Scan and MRI and of course found nothing lol.
I felt like I could not take it anymore. They said I had so much stress lately that I was even having muscles spasms in my back and around towards the front of my chest. I thought I was having a Heart-Attack.
They put me on Valium and a muscle relaxer and told me to try and get plenty of rest. I have- and Thank God the Head ahces have subsided. I just could not take those anymore. It was destroying my Life I swear. I feel for you so much and it is so painful. Get you some Much needed Rest and seek a good Phys. and I pray that you will get the care you deserve. I pray there is nothing seriously wrong either. I'm sure it's stress and probably other things too. Feel Better Real Soon Sweet-Heart!! I send All My Love and Best Wishes-Honestly!!
Ibuprofen gives me Stomach pain so if you take it be very careful, because it can be harmful to your tummy. They gave me Hydrocodone for the Migraines, everything else I have tried, I have been fighting these things for more than 5-years, so they have tried it all on me. OOOXXXX Love!

I used to suffer so bad with unexpected migraine type headaches. I can tell you it was bad and what helped me the most, from over the counter, was BC Headache Powder.
I took I with an ice cold regular "coke a cola". Then I need complete bed-rest in a very quite dark room and leave me alone with maybe a stack of crisp saltines.
I have since had Brain surgery because of a bleeding clot with old & new blood that would not desolve with medication. When they where repairing that, they found I have a tumor on the other side of my brain. I still have that but I have not had a headache of any kind since brain surgery in 2002. I do take seijure medication. I had one after surgery and the Dr. said any time you do anything with the brain, you need to take seijure medicine.. I hope you will try the BC powder & reg. coke till you see the Dr.. It just may help you too.~~
Blessing to you, Jill

Oh sweetie. You've already had a catscan?? *sigh* I know you've tried everything. All I can say is that I'll keep you in my thoughts and pray it subsides. I hope you get to the bottom of this at the doctor. I'll be thinking of you.

I get migraine that last for weeks at a time.

I'm taking a new drug called Maxalt - 10 mg - works really well - takes about 20 minutes to work and then the headache is gone.

Depending on its location, could you have a sinus headache? Pain around your eyebrows, under your eyes or between your eyes? Aspirin/Ibuprofen won't work on it. You would need a sinus medication. Any brand, generic or otherwise will do. It could also be due to allergies in which case you would go with Benedryl or its generic brand.

Lortabs, but I usually have more than a headache going on. When I was healthy, I would take two or three Advil.

I cant take anything over the counter, because my headaches are too servere. I tried some type of migrane medicine that was prescribed, and it was ok.

Another cat scan? How about an MRI or something that shows more "in depth"...even a optometrist can sometimes see something in there....your dentist, don't count your teeth out....will keep you in my thoughts, that certainly isn't any way to live...
