Go to the food network web site they have easy recipes and how too's. Learning to cook is fun my wife and I take turns cooking it's our way of being creative. The big secret is to have fun but understand you will make mistakes but you learn and you get better. Also watch cooking shows thats another way to learn they show you how to do it. Foodnetwork also gives you tv times for the shows.....

Simple is best if you are not a great cook.

If you have a grill (even a George Foreman one), make steak, microwave the baked potatoes, do a little salad (from a bag) add cherry tomatoes, and a good dressing is Marie's any flavor you like. Buy a fancy little cake from the bakery in the grocery store, you can get flowers for the table there too. Candles always add a nice touch, voila! Nice romantic dinner.

In your spare time in the future, I strongly recommend watching cooking shows, you can learn a lot of neat ideas, and how to use spices, how to cook simply is the best way, instead of trying to be a gourmet. Have Fun! Happy Anniversary!!

Awww, you are sweet. Try spagetti, its easy and good. Boil water w/ some salt in it, add pasta and cook for about 10 minutes. Try some garlic bread with it. Get a fresh italian loaf. You can find them in the bakery area of the grocery store. Cut (long ways) and butter the top halves and sprinkle with garlic powder, put in oven to warm and toast it lightly.

Or try cooking something that was at your wedding. You could probably get recipie on the web, or who ever cooked it. I would have a candle lite dinner, no matter what you serve. Good luck

keep it simple so you dont mess up! One thing that I like to cook that is full proof.
Take 2 chicken breasts... poke a few holes with a fork or knife. Put it in a baking dish. Cover with spaghetti sauce and cook in the oven for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. After 35-40 minutes check on it. Spoon some of the sauce onto the chicken and cover with sliced provolone cheese. Bake just until the cheese melts.
Serve on top of spagetti or with a side of pasta and garlic toast. My husband thought I was such a good cook when I first cooked this and he didnt realize how easy it was. The chicken comes out so juicy and tender!
Best of luck and congratulations on your marriage!

Menu, Baked Talapia with a lemon wedge,Green Gaint nibblet corn, and rice pilaf' with a side salad with fruit. Bake the Talapia season with a little salt and pepper with a pat of butter. Soft jazz I recommend Keiko Matsui Live. As for as a candle get a floating candle surounded by some fresh flowers. Dim the ligth if you can't do this get a 40 watt light bulb. Good luck and enjoy your dinner I am sure he will.

The candles should go in the middle of the table, low lighting for the rest of the room. As for a dinner it should be a little fancy. Start with a salad and the main course, you should cook something you both enjoy to remember your favorite time. You should aim close to the time you met shared a special moment!

Get a cook book. If you can read you can cook. That is what I tell my daughters. Decorate the dining room with candles and play some soft music. Have a great 1st month anniversary!

Happy Anniversary! Believe me, what you serve doesn't matter. Your heart is in the right place and your husband will appreciate that and you. I would set a beautiful table with candles and flowers, wear something sexy that you know he loves, play his favorite CD, buy a couple steaks (ask your butcher), make a salad, baked potato and find a recipe for a killer dessert. Make a list on a beautiful piece of scented (your scent!) stationary of all the reasons you love being married to him and put it on his plate. Don't wear panties! haha Have fun!

Get a kid's cook book, or one designed for novice cooks. Usually the recipes are more clearly spelled out so you can follow them. Also, stick with something simple.

Try spaghetti and meat balls, pretty easy and relatively forgiving. Just follow the recipe for the meat balls, and make sure you don't over cook the pasta.

Good luck.

Okay!
Go on line and find Betty Crocker's they have wonderful recipes there or go to the book store and get yourself one of her cook books. while you shop for groceries pick up a bouquet of fresh cut flowers and a couple of candles ,a nice bottle of Asti Spumante to cheer and celebrate . Congratulations!
And don't forget the music!
