Actually I prefer Genevieve to Geneva. Saphira is lovely , but it was the name of a dragon in Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Trilogy and the female dragon rider in Eragon which gives it a strong sci-fi connection.

I would choose Saphira. Geneva just reminds me of the Geneva Convention, and what it they went in to politics??

I like Saphira best. However, it is almost a guarantee the poor kid would spend a lifetime correcting people who pronounce it "Sa-fire-ah" (with a long I sound).

Saphira is a beautiful name. I'd run with that. We were looking at Sapphire for a girl, but we have decided on Alexis (or Phoenix for a boy).
All the best :)
