Why does the wall at the head of the bed get dirty even though your head never actually touches it?

Your hair must be touching it if your head isn't. Same thing happened to ours just from hair touching it because we don't use a headboard either.

The headboard does and you probably lean against it.

If you lean against the wall while watching TV, even if you have a pillow behind you, over time dirt and oils will build up....:)
