Maybe brand new games, I was in the store and by the games and the notice said some games will not work with vista.

The problem is there is something needed to make your game click and install or play and vista does not have it the good news is you can download it from the microsoft website you would have to find out exactly what version of the exe you would need

the hardware grunt should not be an issue, but I would check very carefully what is Vista compatible and what is not. (both hardware and software).
Personally i am going to wait another 12 months or so before thinking about Vista. I would go with XP as you know most products and software will work fine.
Just my 2cents.

Vista will run PERFECTLY with that system.
As for games...counterstrike will run smooth. so should games like The sims, or WoW.
But...super high-demanding games like Quake 4, Doom 3, and Half-life 2 wont run well on your system.

mmm nice pc ;) yes you can run windows vista premium 32 bits, your graphic card seems alright and counter strike has really shitty graphics it shall run smoothly, but it also depends on your internet connection and the server you are connected to while you are playinng counter strike you might get some lag... otherwise welcome to the vista community!

some games you cannot play on vista and some you cant just test it out. In my oppinion windowsxp is the best gaming o.s.

yes games will run smooth on it. u can run next-gen dx10 games as well. overall thats a very good system.

windows vista upgrade advisor...go to this site and do a scan http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/buyorupgrade/upgradeadvisor.mspx to see if ur computer is capatible
