I am looking to propose and would love to hear about romantic places in Asheville. Romantic restaurants, maybe somewhere with a phenomenal view. Any ideas?

You could drive up to the top of Mount Mitchell, the highest mtn, in NC. It's a beautiful drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, too. It's about 25 miles ENE of Asheville.
There's also an arts and crafts store with all kinds of local artists' work on display. A little culture way up in the hills.

The Biltmore House, Grove Park Inn Resort, and the Blue Ridge Parkway (Craggy Pinnacle) are all very beautiful and romantic places.
