The worst day of my life was when I lost my Father. Though it's been many years ago, the date never passes without my acknowledgement. The best days, when my sons were born.

My Mother passed which was a very sad day, I remember it vividly today and this was 22+ years ago. Sorry about your loss.

My little son (12) sustained 3rd degree burns to his leg.... it was awful. I seen the skin peel off his leg, and the meat was white, which I was told was dead and had no life. He was in such pain and nothing I could do to alleviate it. We cried together as well as the rest of the family. He went into surgery and spent a few days in the hospital. As a parent I told him hundreds of times about fire ... even hung up stuff he burned so others can tell him how dangerous it was. Everything I tried for years, felt he didn't listen. I remember him asking if I was mad at him, I told him no, I forgive him and so does hid Dad, but it was time to forgive himself for his wrong. On that day, he knew I was hurt, and I still feel as a parent I didn't do enough. He's healing well today, it's been 8 months now - He's a real trooper, he my life.

It wasn't the worst, but it was definitely the longest. When I was in labor with my oldest son. After what seemed like a month [22 hrs.] they decided to do a c-section. They said we were in distress.. no kidding.

May1, 1993 - my older brothers funeral. That day was long and rainy and that night when i was all alone in the house while my mom finally rested and went to sleep .i kept going to his bedroom to see were was he and looking for him all night long. But I finally got past the depression and greive it only took me til 2000 to stop being so miserable. So now I just think of him on his birthday but I don't get miserable I just laugh and think of the good times we had.
