Now I know most of you will respond to this with a big,'NO' but that is either because your racist, sick in the head or really don't give a damn.

Well I found it offensive on the first episode of Family Guy when Aunt Jemima just pops up in the window with a plate of pancakes saying, 'Yall want sone pancakes?'.I mean what the hell was that for?

Don't get me wrong,I love comedy to death and love to get and give a few laughs, been fan of The Simpsons ever since I saw it came out when I was born and they never went over the racist line.

But I refused to watch Family Guy until I know what is the creator Seth Macfarlane trying to prove here?

Im black and I thought the Aunt Jemima joke was funny. You're just too up tight, I love the racist jokes on the show. The best one is when Stewie wanted to tell a black joke to a bunch of white people.

And God needs sex too.

Why Is Family Guy Trying To Prove With Its Racist Scenes?

It's called Comedy for a reason. I gotta say it's pretty interesting how you only talk about black people. Haven't you noticed that they poke fun at EVERYONE. Why don't you write that too? They don't target black people. You're basically saying white people should stop laughing at black people on the show - you're the one being ignorant right there. "no black person will like a show like that." - could this be anymore ridiculous? That's merely impossible. I will say that sometimes people might think it's too offensive, but hey if you're not comfortable with that, you can always change the channel. You should watch stand up comedy, it might give you a sense of humor.

They are attempting to show how dumb racism actually is. They are also trying to see if they can offend you. Do you find South Park offensive? Do you find Boondocks offensive? People are far to sensitive today. You can't say anything about race, religion, sex, or sexual preference without offending someone. I herald Family Guy for the simple fact that it doesn't matter if you are black or white they will make fun of you just the same. If the jokes were one sided I would agree with you, but they aren't. They aren't. They show us how silly our prejudices actually are.

He's always trying to push the envelope a bit farther each time. Maybe to prove its not a Simpson's ripoff. There are hits and misses with all types of comedy. That's a miss.
Just let it go. He can't make everyone laugh.

Watch more episodes, they make fun of jewish people, dorky white people, hispanic people, arab people, catholic, muslim, if you can think of a race or religion it has been made fun of on that show. I also think that its interesting, that you start off by saying that if we don't agree with you we are racist, sick in the head, or basically assholes. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I just have a higher tolerance for humor. They have even made fun of italian and german people (of which I am both) and I dont take offense.

Why must he be trying to prove something? Every time I have ever watched Chris Rock, Carlos Mencia, and Steve Harvey stand up, they have said something along the lines of "Do you ever notice that white people.....," that does not mean they are racist, they are stereotyping to get some laughs. I don't take offense to that, its a free country and free speech is one of our inalienable rights.
