to be honest I'm not for it or against it,because anything that could benefit the human race, like this ,some one with ulterior motives always finds away to use it for harm, but in the right hands it could have its up side.unfortunately human nature ,and mother nature don't always allow it,with out some form of repercussions.

Since i'm veggie, mainly for animal welfare reasons, i think it's wrong to use other species in that way for our own benefit. I also think it would be another example of research leading to the treatment of conditions that either resulted from interaction with an inappropriate environment or would be better prevented. There would be a few exceptions, but those should be dealt with by stem-cell research and the like rather than human-nonhuman hybrids.

I'm totally with it since I've been growing fur!! I'm so hairy my skin is hardly visible anywhere on my body from the neck below. My legs, chest, arms and shoulders though HAVE grown fur. It's been coming in naturally too! I hit puberty when I was eight and the hair just kept growing! Even before then I was pretty hairy! But as of now, I'm increasing my testosterone and using other things such as rogaine to help my fur spread faster. I feel really lucky to be able to say I have FUR.

i am opposed to the animal/human hybrid research. yes there are aspects that would be cool or enhance our lives. but i also think that is we were meant to have supersonic hearing,we would've evolved to have it. i think there are many dangers that could result, and many cruel acts such as the destruction of the testers etc. that is just too wild and xmen like,i do not think it would be a good idea,no matter how cool it may be.

I support research that will aid all living beings. The result of the research is neither good nor evil. Humans make the choices. There are many such examples. Gun powder was made in hopes of reducing mining deaths. Atomic energy provides power and yet has killed thousands.

I"m for genetic combination when it comes to anima/human DNA. Imagine being able to have the ability to "see" sound like dlphins and bats. Imagine having the retractible claws of a cat, or the posionous stick of a scorpion. I wouldn't also mind if anthomorphs became a reality for certian undisclosed reason.

I think animal might be OK but as far as human?? Maybe that's taking it a little far.
Just don't know the results and if there are mistakes made what would be done with the. Wouldn't disposal be equal to murder?
