You realize that if you answer yes to this question, you'll essentially be admitting that you are of the belief that money DOES buy happiness, don't ya?...

Yeah its unfortunate but its true. When you have money in the bank and in your pocket you feel safe and secure and can do more things than you can without it. It opens doors-- it doesn't just get you material things. It also means you can raise a family comfortably without worrying about paying for general bills. You're a happier, less stressed person, and that is better for everyone you encounter. Captalism's a b*tch, ain't it? :)

No, money does not buy happiness but it sure pays the bills which is what makes a person happy. It's so nice to be able to do that and have a few extras in life...I don't like not having enough money because for a long time, I was broke. I don't go without anything now because I have worked hard for what I do have.

yes, lack of money does keep me from living the life i would like to live BUT it doesn't mean i am not happy with what i do have. Money can never buy happiness just look at all the "so called RICH" people....

No, money doesn't buy happiness because true happiness is a feeling from within, But, money can buy things that will make you happy, contend, busy, wiser, etc...
In my case, I love to oil paint and it is expensive. The moving of the oils on a canvas with a brush and turning into an expression that people can see, makes me happy. I cut corners to be able to have this feeling; to the point of being too skinny.
Does that help?

I say no. I think that the lack or money (meaning major wealth) just excludes you from the extravagances that the world offers. But I'm only 26 and not a millionaire but i will say i have lived a great life so far with the money that i have. Good company can always replace the money issue

Money CAN buy happiness to an extent, so yes, a lack of money keeps me from living the life I'd like to live. I wouldn't trade my family for money, but it sure would be nice to be able to afford a car or take trips with my family and see a bit of the world instead of slaving away for someone else while you make THEM rich with your labor.

I'd rather be rich, make m y own decisions on my life and be able to give my kids the life they deserve. There are good people who are rich and if I were rich, I'd do my best to be one of them.

Money doesn't buy happiness but it can buy comfort. I'd be a lot more comfortable in a house with a yard for my dog instead of a tiny apartment and money id the only thing keeping me from buying a house.

I'l answer the question. Of course, it does. Living on a fixed income, I really can't afford to do all of the things that I could do if I had more money.

It's not about buying hapiness, I am happy with my life, but with more money, I could do more things. Money won't buy happiness but it will buy the opportunities to have fun, and expand your horizons.

Being retired, I now have the time to do things, but with increased costs of fuel, utilities, and increased taxes on property. It makes things rough sometimes.

That's my 2 cents worth.

Nope. All I need is a pencil and a piece of paper. And a camera. And a passport, I guess. But I already have a passport and camera, and pencils and paper are easy to come by. Other than that, happiness is just a journey away. (I guess I would like some change so I can call my family & friends)

♥ Peace
