I think it comes from two main factors. Those with money and power have always felt that rules are for other people. Republicans want laws to constrain the "mob," but to be free of regulations themseleves. They want other people to pay taxes, but to be exempt from having to share any of their own riches. The second reason is psychological, one the shrinks call "projection." Corrupt people always think that "everyone does it," and that other people have the same lack of morals they themselves do. So even while they indulge their own perversions, they try to constrain the rest of the world to avid being overwhelmed by the sickness that rages within them. Sad, sad, sad.

The difference between a conservative and a liberal is that when a conservative gets caught doing this, they step down.
Antiono Villaraigosa, mayor of LA, is having an extra-marital affair. Still in office.
Gavin Newsome, mayor of San Francisco, had an affair with a married staffer. Still in office.
I guess it's OK for libs to be immoral, but not conservatives.

Republicans attempt to enact legislations that advantages the 1000 or so wealthiest families in the rustic. those human beings's priorities are particularly diverse from those of the common American, subsequently Republican rules might often seem at odds with what's superb for the final public or in spite of what could be considered to be sane. Making concerns worse, the Republicans guard administration of a majority of the voters utilising faith. often, they might desire to blatantly pander to religious communities to maintain this administration (else larger taxes for the 1000 wealthiest families). This pandering places Republicans in direct conflict with social rules that are enlightened, tolerant, accepting, and make for a extra suitable society. On a thoroughly unrelated observe, did you notice that checklist of people who the Clinton's killed? it is quite stunning, huh? Can anybody else corroborate this checklist? Why isn't Monica on the checklist? If bill have been set off chuffed, you've gotten theory she'd be ineffective meat, suitable?

Actually, most republican scandles are about money and power. Sure it does happen, but not as often.
Look at the alligations going on about abuse of power in the current administration. Far more serious than any sex issue.

To conservatives we can do no wrong, because we have God on our side. Even when we do wrong, we are still better than democrats, because we have God on our side. To conservatives, Lying about Sex is far worst than Lying to get us into a War.
You see the difference?

because they are all show and gigantic phonies.
i would think that the real religious conservatives would be a bit more wary at this point about politicians who say exactly what they want to hear.
in fact, i think everyone should be wary of that...

Hey now, they try really hard to keep up their veneer. Nobody can keep it up for too long, the rules they expect everyone to live by are just way too much to live up to.
