Yes..I broke my femur 4 yrs ago in a car accident at a highway. Was on bed for 3 mths, and unable to walk well until after a year. Missed half a year in school, have a metal rod running from my knee to my upper leg. Hurts in the winter and hurts when I go up the stairs. But im doing much better now = )

Not a truly bad one myself, but my best childhood friend was in a nasty wreck when she was just shy of seventeen. She was the DD for a group of her girlfriends on the way back from a party. She was driving home via the NYS Thruway. The friends were drunk out of their minds, and being extremely distracting. My friend lost control of the vehicle at about 75 mph. The four other girls in the car with her were killed almost instantly. She survived, with barely a scratch on her. She had nothing to drink prior to the accident.
She spent the remainder of her high school years as a motivational speaker, travelling to high schools to teach other teens what can happen when you don't exercise caution in your lives, and how it's not just drinking and driving that kills.

PRAISE THE LORD - NO! (not a bad one)
The worse accident I was in was in Los Angeles about 20 years ago. I was at work and there was a terrible earthquake. I have been in several, but this one affected me more because I had a child. She was about 15 miles away from me and all I could think about was I would not be able to get to her. It was in October. By November, I had packed, sold my car and personal effects (furniture, etc.) loaded my child and myself and went home - to Alabama! I have only been back once in 20 years...and have no reason to return.

Ya when I was 8 years old, I had a big clear out at my house, and for some reason there was this huuuge double bed in my garden, just chillin there. So obviously, being an 8 year old, I wanted to jump on the double bed (which had a large sturdy wooden frame build around it). I pulled the wooden frame down, and it was heavy, so it was gonna fall on me, I scuffled a bit, so it landed on my leg instead of my face.
I fractured me knee in 3 in three places and broke my ankle. It hurrt. Oh and I think I broke my big toe. Yup, It hurttt

Depends, i was in a car accident a while back where my uncle was in the carpool lane of a freeway and one of the rear wheels popped and it sent us into traffic but he turned back into the median divider and we luckily survived that crash. Our van was facing opposite the way traffic was going and people behind us got out of their cars to help us. No one was badly injured but i was sitting on my aunt's lap and after the whole incident and had a very bruised ankle and i remember it was hard walking on it. We were on our way to Las Vegas, we ended up getting the wheel fixed and continuing are trip.

not tooo bad. it was a three car pileup on I35 in Texas on the 4th of July. the girl behind us had to go the hospital for a broken arm and some broken ribs. we were fine tho b/c we were in a big truck. luckily everyone survived. There was just lots of traffic and we had to stop fast and the girl behind us didnt stop quick enough and ran into us and bc we were so backed up (being a holiday and all) she was blocking the on ramp and then a car getting on the highway from the ramp ran into her and spun her into traffic then he drove off.

Oct. 3, 1999 i replaced into making use of with my 3 toddlers interior the vehicle. It replaced right into a sixty 5 mph. i replaced into making use of approximately 68mph while a tire blew out. i did no longer comprehend what it replaced into however the motor vehicle all started shaking, my instinct replaced into to place my foot on the ruin. That did it, the van flipped on the drivers part the place my arm broke the glass. I picked myself up, leaned over my son interior the front seat to look after him and carry him back by using fact the van moved to the roof and skidded for form of one hundred ft earlier coming back to its wheels dealing with backwards around the line. I appeared on the infants, 2 have been high quality, no longer a scratch, my son interior the main rear seat had his face coated in blood. It replaced into my very own, and it took perpetually yet all i'd desire to think of replaced into "God do no longer take my young ones" Please, everybody positioned on your seatbelts. The cops and commonplace responders pronounced if we does no longer have been we would have maximum possibly all been killed. The van replaced into pancaked. My son had 8 stitches and that i nevertheless have glass in my arm-yet we are all great. i myself teared up right here. Scariest 2nd of my existence.
